Just plain cute

I couldn't pass up showing off some great photos of the kids. The photos of the girls were taken this past weekend after some time running through the sprinkler. The water was a little cold but the girls had fun nonetheless. As for Sam, like most babies he is subjected to frequent photo shoots in an attempt to capture all the wonderful joy of babyhood. Enjoy!

New Skill

Amelia and Natalie learned at a young age how to fend for themselves. Finding food is a matter of survival and the girls at 16 months knew that you should never pass up an opportunity for a good snack. As long as food was at their level the girls welcomed any open buffet.

Just recently the girls mastered another survival skill....locating drinkable water.

Natalie and Amelia will use any cup available whether clean or not to get themselves a drink. However, I have been told multiple times that "only grown-ups get ice". I am not sure where they got that idea but I am in full support of it!

As nice as it is that they can now get their own drink I am not 100% fond of this new skill. Just the other day Amelia had some orange juice left in a glass and decided to add water to it. Unfortunately, she did not have steady hands and spilled the concoction all over the floor. Until I get a chance to properly wash the floor everyone who travels through our kitchen gets a chance to stick to it! I try to limit their water dispensing events and am very grateful for the "lock" button. Now I wonder how long it will take them to figure out how to "unlock" the dispenser...... any guesses?

4 months on the 4th of July!

In honor of our independence day here is Sam sporting his red, white and blue.

Birth weight: 5 lbs. 12.6 oz length: 18 inches
4 month weight: 14 lbs. 4 oz length 23.4 inches

It is amazing to think that he is already 4 months old.

Here are some photos showing the faces of Sam from the past week.
