Rest Time Redecorating

Before rest time today

After rest time today

There is a saying in the twin world-
"When it is too quiet be worried. Very, very worried."

Someday I might laugh...but not today.

The bittersweet thing is Natalie has always wanted the tree decal on her side.
And Amelia just wanted to be nice and give it to her.

too bad the thing cost $50

like I said...not today

Front Row Seats

Many times a day I will find the kids...

watching from their up close seats...

what they would consider one
of the "greatest shows on Earth".

As thankful as I am for free kid
entertainment I am getting tired of the
noise, the dirt and the inconvenient side effects
of new curbs and gutters.

Though I will admit to watching a truck or two from time to time. :)

I will be glad when it is all over...only a few weeks to go....

**Check out how deep this hole is.
Can you find the white hard-hat on the head
of a worker deep in the trenches?
They had to use ladders to get in and out!

This past week I had a great idea for a photoshoot opportunity for Sam. For easter from my parents he received a fun Cheerios t-shirt. I figured that since the shirt finally fit and by chance we had five different types of Cheerios in the house…what a great picture taking moment. Usually we only have 2-3 different Cheerios flavors but there was a special this past week so Mike stocked up.

The chair was necessary for standing support for Sam.
He stands but does not walk. He is too stubborn to take that first step.
(I will refrain from going on about that frustrating subject.)

In case you thought everything was always butterfly kisses and rainbows in our house...
here's your proof- Sam was not going for picture posing today.

A little snack break perked him up a bit.

In the end no chair and no Cheerios in the photo...
however I will take this
cute little Cheerios lover's smile any day.
