At bedtime tonight...
Amelia: "Mama, give me that book please. I read it myself"
I willingly hand it over and watch her look at it...a minute later....
Amelia: "Sorry Mama, I can't read it. I don't have big enough hands."
Who knew that it takes big hands to know how to read. : )

- In the beginning Mike and I lived a calm and well planned out life. In 2006 we decided to start a family and were looking forward to the birth of our first child in May. It was on February 6th, 2006, that our plans turned into a whirlwind with the premature birth of our first and second (yes, I said SECOND) child! We had surprise twins 13 weeks early. Natalie and Amelia are now four and we wouldn't trade our little whirlwinds for anything! And as if our lives were not crazy enough before on March 4, 2009, we proudly welcomed the newest whirlwind into our family- our beautiful little Sam!

maybe that is my problem! i just gave up reading the next book for bookclub. can't get into it and don't get it either. i ordered the next one on cd via the library. i'll try that and see if i have better luck. do i need big ears to listen to a book?
